Donate to Help Members Impacted by Maui Wildfires

Hello,

My name is Derek Govin and I am the current President for the Hawaii Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) non-profit organization. We are a passionate group of 400+ members across the islands who are dedicated to improving the success of children and youth with disabilities and/or gifts and talents in Hawaii.

In the devastating wildfires that have been occurring on Maui since August 8, 2023, families were forced to flee from their homes, leaving everything behind, many of which have lost everything. We have dozens of members who have been potentially impacted as a direct result of the wildfires and we won't know for sure who all was impacted until phone services are secured again.

We kindly ask for your support during this difficult time as these families mourn their losses and begin the challenging journey of rebuilding their lives. Your generous donations can make a significant difference in helping them recover. Our goal is to give each impacted member a minimum of $100 We will be delivering this to them through Venmo, PayPal, or hard wire to account as we will be on separate islands .
