Donate to help Mekenna Vanyo

Hi, my name is Mark (Mekenna's father), and I am fundraising for her to help make one of her martial arts dreams come true. I can't tell you how proud as a Dad and coach I am of Mekenna, she has overcome and trained so hard to get to this point. Mekenna was asked to represent the USA for kickboxing in Italy at the 2022 Junior Worlds Championship.

From the time she could walk she was training in taekwondo ....she earned her black belt very early on and continued to improve in different discipline styles of martial arts. She earned her black band in muay thai kickboxing and has never turned back. Martial arts have been a part of her life since she can remember and over the years we have watched her grow as an athlete and an individual. She has also helped out training younger kids at the school both private lessons as well as teaching in the class. The level of martial arts runs deep and the chance for her to go and represent the US in kickboxing for 16 year olds, is quite the honor! She has worked very hard over the years and we are so very proud of her and want to give her this opportunity. Due to some personal financial changes in our lives, we have had to make certain adjustments... with that in mind, we still want to give her this opportunity.

Due to the financial burden of traveling and competing in Italy, we are reaching out for any support we can get. Our fundraising goal is only around half the total cost, which would be used for all her and the coach's travel, hotel, and competition fees.
