Hi, it's Angelica! Mamma Mia, here I go again asking for money for the brass tour this October during half term. As you know, last year, the Queens College Brass Ensemble went on tour to Italy, and I couldn't have done it without your amazing donations, so I just want to say how grateful I am. Now we have made a massive upgrade and we are going to Saint Lucia in the Caribbean's!

Last years tour was an extraordinary experience, playing in a variety of venues and churches, using my language skills to introduce our band :) During this, we also got to explore in Italy itself and have fun with our friends and teachers!

From the Italy tour until now, lots has been going on with me and my trumpet, we had a Big Brass Blowout concert, then me and four other band members formed a quintet, playing every Thursday morning at 8am, and other exiting things such as playing with an extraordinary music school. We played with them and when we had finished, the teachers pulled me in and told me some very amazing news. The words were clear... I had gotten a Brass Scholarship! And not just a Brass Scholarship, a Brass Scholarship that pays for my brass lessons all the way until the end of school, and this was the first Brass Scholarship in the history of Queens College, so yes, I do feel very high-class and very proud of myself :)

Soon, we will be preparing for the brass tour and many other concerts. I know this long paragraph has taken some time to read, but get ready, because next year it will be even longer, holding more amazing memories. I also want to say a massive thank you to all of you for helping to make this happen for me, I cannot express how grateful I am (and how many hugs I owe you ;D) Thank you so so so much, last year's tour was an amazing experience and this year it will be even better.
