Hello, I'm Dr. Zinah Abdul Rahman, a 37 year-old radiologist from Gaza
My husband name is Mohanned Hellis is a surgeon 38 yrs old
We are working at Al-Shifaa Hospital,
We have 2 kids Ameer 8 years old & Eleen 4 yrs old.
Life was once peaceful in our lovely home filled with love and joy. However, everything changed suddenly, and our world came crashing down. My role as a doctor was clear - to save lives at all costs, despite the heart-wrenching scenes I witnessed daily.
Physically, financially, and emotionally, we were shattered. There was no time to dwell on our losses; I had to stay strong for my family. From Al-Shejaea to the west of Gaza City, we were forced to move as conflict threatened our safety. Amidst the chaos, my husband, children, Ameer, and I found ourselves displaced, clinging to hope in a world that seemed to offer none.
In this brutal war, we have lost many dear ones - cousins, friends, relatives, colleagues, and acquaintances. The war rages on, casting a shadow of fear over my loved ones and family members.
Our family of four faces immense challenges. My husband and I, both in the medical field, struggle to make ends meet since losing our home and income to the war. Our children, Ameer in third grade and Eleen in first grade, are caught in the turmoil, their innocence overshadowed by pain and uncertainty.
Now homeless and without a stable income, we stand at a crossroads, our dreams halted by the ravages of war. We seek a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness that surrounds us, a chance to rebuild our shattered lives.
Your support, no matter how small, can make a world of difference for my family. Your generosity and kindness can help us find our footing again, restore hope, and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow. Please, help me save my family. Thank you for your compassion and consideration.
I am Dr. Anwer, and I am currently based in the USA. I have successfully raised funds to assist my closest friend, Dr. Hellis, and his family, who have been enduring severe hardships ever since the conflict erupted in Gaza. With no access to food, shelter, or external assistance, they find themselves without a home. Despite their circumstances, all they can offer are prayers for the survival of their children.
