I really, really dislike doing this but since the car was wrecked today, I'm going to have to rent a car. Until November. The last time I rented a car, a few weeks ago when the Ford broke down, it was $500 a week. I'm panic-stricken. I simply can't keep spending my Social Security money like this. There's little enough in my savings account as it is.

So I'm asking for help. I can offer apple butter and banana bread or just my gratitude; you choose. But I'm going to need about 2 grand to survive this. I need to get to work, to chorus (especially since I am someone's ride to chorus.)

Please help if you can.
