Many families around the world, elders, students, and those in need don’t have the basic necessities like food etc. For many, this meal is more than just food, it is comfort, belonging, and relief.

My name is Muhammad Nabeel, and this year I want to help raise funds to provide daily necessities for those in need. A lot of Muslims in our Islamic community are struggling financially. Others are far from their families. When they walk into their homes and see a warm meal prepared, clothing being provided or the daily necessities every human should be able to have, it reminds them that they are not alone.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people.” This shows that serving others is one of the highest forms of worship. 

In another Hadith, he taught that a believer is not someone who sleeps full while his neighbour goes hungry. This emphasises awareness of others and active care, not just personal piety.This is an opportunity for all of us to share in that blessing.
