**Help Me Fight for My Health and Future**

Hi, my name is Kaitlyn, and I’m only 21 years old. Despite my young age, I’ve been overwhelmed by a cascade of serious health challenges that have profoundly impacted my life. I’m reaching out because I need help — help to get the medical care, treatments, and support I desperately need to survive and regain some sense of normalcy.

Since I was 19, I’ve been battling Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), a condition that causes extreme dizziness, fainting, and fatigue. Soon after, I was diagnosed with adenomysois/endometriosis (the 4th most painful condition in the world), painful Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, and severe GERD, along with stomach antibodies that remain unexplained. These conditions have left me in constant pain, exhaustion, and emotional distress.

Most recently, my health has taken a devastating turn. I can no longer eat the foods I once enjoyed—gluten, many vegetables, and other staples are now impossible to tolerate. My diet is limited to potatoes, minced beef, eggs, and some vegetables, but even these cause severe stomach distension, cramping, nausea, and hours-long belching episodes which makes me incredibly fearful to eat. I’ve lost a significant amount of weight, and my body struggles to absorb nutrients, leaving me weak, faint, and dangerously undernourished.

The physical toll is only part of the story. The constant pain, weakness, and inability to eat properly have deeply affected my mental health. I often feel terrified, overwhelmed, hopeless, and trapped—struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts because I can’t work, study, or even drive like I used to. It’s a lonely, exhausting battle, and I need support to keep fighting.

Adding to this, I have no family support. I’ve been left to face these overwhelming challenges on my own. My mother’s narcissistic, physically, and emotionally abusive behavior throughout my life has left me isolated and struggling financially. I’ve been in and out of homelessness, living in temporary accommodations, and fighting just to find a safe place to call home.
