Hi, my name is Sam. I’m 20 years old and I study art and graphic design. I’m a homosexual living in a Muslim household that doesn’t accept me for who I am. Every day, I’m working toward a future where I can live freely and safely but right now, I feel trapped.

I’ve been searching for a place to live so I can move out, but it’s much harder than people think. I work full-time in a supermarket the best job I’ve been able to find yet it’s still not enough. On top of my expenses, I have to pay my parents €300 a month just for living in their home. That leaves me with very little to survive on.

I’m not asking for help to cover rent or a full apartment I’m asking for enough to get an iPad or other art supplies. With those tools, I can create and sell my artwork to earn more income and move closer to independence.

Right now, I’m barely making it through each month, and every euro counts. Your support could be the step that helps me escape this situation and build a life where I’m free to be myself.
