Donate to help me finish my short film

Hello, my name is Sarah Lamesch and I'm looking for support to finish post-production on my short film "Friends".

The story is set around Mia, a young writer who works for a “Rent-a-friend” company, where people can hire people to be their companions for the day.

The film follows her eventful journey with different clients and shows the little ways in which the connections she makes with the people she meets impact her clients’ lives.

Mia appears to be an upbeat, happy and fulfilled person who likes her job and takes an interest in the people she meets. However, when we meet the blunt, reveal-all French Chorus - who throughout the film interject with the truth about each of the characters - we come to realise that even Mia is not as content as she seems.

We shot the film last year with the support of Oeuvre Luxembourg and I am now looking for further funding to cover the cost of the post-production of the film. Which means, the edit, music, sound mix and colour grading.

If there is a little left of the budget or we go over the target I will use the rest of the money for festival entries.
