Donate to help me continue to play Prof. Golf

Hi,

My name is Logan Crawford, a professional golfer living in his car in order to do what he enjoys and that is to continue to play professional golf at the highest level possible where I have a goal and a mission to try to win 5 fedex cups.(stanley cup of golf). While allowing you, the sponsor to come on my journey with me to the PGA Tour and earn some of your money back for each time I finish inside of the money

But let me tell you a little bit about my journey thus far...........

I was born and raised in the small town of Marwayne Alberta Canada where my mom raised me for most of my life as a single parent after my father was hit and killed by a drunk driver before I was born. Life was not off to a great start for me, but thankfully my mom got off the canvas and did everything she could to ensure that I had an excellent life while having the support of my dads parents beside her as she tried to cope with the loss of her fiance.

Like most Canadian kids growing up I had a love affair for hockey and the Edmonton Oilers(still do). Not knowing as a youth, my mom worked hard to provide me with the chance to play hockey until I was about 13 years old. As someone with Muscular myopathy I needed special skates as well which made our journey together a little more of a challenge.

As I progressed as a youth in the small town of Marwayne alberta and spent hockey camps with my dads parents in Lethbridge alberta with the University team my love affair for hockey began to wain away at the age of 9 years old, where I was shocked by how good I was at golf

With my mom subconsciously instilling the value of hard work and the ability to adapt to situations that aren't ideal I began to train very heavily into golf. As soon as we were let out of school at Marwayne Jubilee School I would race home on my bike to a local park with my golf bag outweighing me as someone with my muscular issues I was a very skinny kid. I would practice in rain, -12 C temps and while it was snowing at the park along with the net that my mom and step dad set up for me in the backyard. I would even get up at 5:30 am some days to go and hit ball after ball into the net. Our neighbours wanted to complain but they knew how much the game meant to me and could see my potential at that age as they co-owned our local golf course which had sand greens.

Fast forward two years later I began to play in juinor tournaments and juinor tour events throughout Alberta and Canada. Although because my whole family is in the agriculture business I was still able to do quite well with the limited events I was given.

I had victories three times at the Vermillion Juinor open, a Mclellan Ross Juinor Tour victory in Mundare where I then qualified for the Tour Championship, and many top 10-25 finishes as someone with my condition is not expected despite many teachers telling me to go "the easier route in life". What I mean by that is they were telling me that I wasn't smart enough to take certain classes etc.

As I progressed into Juinor high and high school golf that success followed me as I won the juinor high championship twice out of the three years I had, where I then had the support of the whole town behind me into my high school career as our vice principal, Curt Orbeck set up a net for me to go smash balls into during the winter months. This amazing support lead to people waving at me that I had never met on my way to school in the mornings. I didn't realize at the time how much support that little town had for me later on in my career

The following year in my rookie season as a high school player I came in second out of our entire school division where I was then onto provincials. In Provincials I played some of my best golf and finished 17th out of 115 players. At that point, I realized that I had something special and was bound and determined to not only win a medal at provincials but have a stellar college career and then go onto the PGA TOUR if things worked out

However it was not to be as my verbally, manipulative and physically abusive stepdad tried to steer me away from doing what made me truly happy, and I didn't make it at all to provincials the next two years because he thought that working for him was more important when I didn't truly want to be on the farm. Thankfully I didn't let this manipulative behavior stop me from achieving my dreams as I would wake up at 4:30 a.m. to go practice before my stepdad hauled me up to the farm.

After high school I had two schools offering me scholarships, one %75 of my costs from NYCU, and Arizona State offered me %50. It took some heavy convincing from my mom but I chose to stay here in Canada and play for RDC where as a team we were always inside of the top 3 and won a national championship. This turned out to be the best decision for me as I found a better father figure by the name of Scott Bergdahl he coached me into two top 10 finishes and a top 20 in the acac while suffering a brutal mental health challenge that saw me commit suicide at the hands of my stepdad and then really struggle when RDC cut our team after we won a national title.

I may not be alive today if he wasn't around when I moved to Medicine Hat to finish my last collegiate season with the MHC Rattlers.

Now that I have told you my history, you're probably wondering why I'm here?

Well after my collegiate time was up and covid had finished ravaging the world, I made it into two PGA TOUR CANADA events in 2021 where I was actually able to only be a few strokes off from making the cut and into the money on those weeks. Another feat that critics would say I would never do.

Now I am looking for financial help to get me back to competing on PGA TOUR CANADA and the East Coast Pro tour as I will have to monday qualify for tournaments again this year again. I will have to bounce between these two tours if I am going to go to the next level. (Korn Ferry Tour then PGA TOUR)

The funds will be used for the following:

  • Food, hotels, gas, airfare and car rentals
  • A membership at aurora golf which is urgent as the season is over
  • Golf Course membership to Wolf creek golf resort and hopefully Redtail Landing golf club
  • Entry fees for each event including the RBC Canadian Open qualifier, US open qualifers and British Open qualifiers if we raise enough

The rest of the funds will likely be used for my daily operations as a tour player. So money will allow me to focus solely on my golf, so things like going to the gym, hitting the driving range and playing without having to worry about things like rent, food and gas money to live.

I am currently working for doordash and Uber to keep me going but am forced to live in my car after the business that I tried to start failed. I am also in the "journeymen stage" of becoming a trader in the financial markets which takes lots of failures to become good at.

Getting someplace to live would be a luxury item for me and will continue to live in my car if the Alberta government continues to not help me with the rent subsidy that they offer.

I am willing to make sacrifices for my golf over having a place to live if I have to in order to keep myself from going into a dark place like I did in 2015-2018

If you have a company and would like to sponsor me through your company funds then we can get your logo on my gear. This requires more money, but it also opens you up to the potential to earn profits on my career as with the right amount of backing I can do so many more things for my career. I do take tremendous pride in wearing any logo as it makes me feel like I'm apart of a team. Its a similar passion to the one I had at RDC. If you would like to discuss tiers then give me a shout.

As a thank-you to my donors I'm going to be writing out some stories for my favorite podcast to read. I can guarantee that you will be entertained by these two hilarious gentlemen!

The goals to hit are as follows............

2200- I get a "sponsorship tour bag" done up

7500- I write the script for Manitoba knights/dirty version of knight rider

15000- I write a script for: "PEI, The Race to Escape the Tent City"

25000- TBD

50000-TBD

Please help this thoroughbred do what he is bread to do!!
