Donate to Help Me Become Self-Sufficient

Ten months ago, I was given this beast of a Jeep. I was told that the owner might be deceased, but the title was given to me as well. I paid $267 to Root Insurance for a month's worth of insurance. I went to the DMV, three times, to get plates and a new title. They told me that it was not the latest title, and that I needed to receive the latest. I told them that the original owner had passed away, so they told me that I would have to get a surety bond. I was let down hard.

Then, I did the required sending of a certified letter, and send an email, and called the owner's phone number. All without a response.

Well, today, he called me. He is indeed alive, and he tells me that the DMV is incorrect, that the title I have is indeed the latest. He said for me to have DMV call him when I go in.

I have not been able to find any remote jobs, but have had several offers from companies in the city, that would require me to drive. I have reached my limits in regards to being without money, therefore I am having to swallow my pride by creating this page asking for the money to get back onto my feet.

I assume it'd be another $267 for insurance, and about $170 for title and registration. The remaining will go into the gas tank.

I figure, if could get 25 people or so to donate $20, I could be back on my feet, on the way to getting back onto my feet and be self sufficient.
