Donate To Help Maya Not Lose Everything, Please..

Hello, my name is Mahmud aka Moses, Maya's father, and thank you for coming to check this out and possibly donating. My only daughter and child Maya was riding on the back of a friend's motorcycle on New Year's Eve and was hit by a drunk driver and thrown into the roadway causing her to have a broken collar bone (needing surgery), fractured heel (worse break, also needing surgery), broken finger, over extended hip structure with bruised bones and of course much much road rash. The drunk driver fled the scene immediately but was chased down, caught, and arrested while trying to throw away the evidence, alcohol, from his car.

I just had to deal with some horrible people on the next-door app who can’t tell that she’s not sitting up in bed and that the bed is set up because it’s electric and motorized as well she was forced to get into the wheelchair so they could kick her out of the hospital. She only has use of one arm as you can clearly see the surgery wound cover over her collarbone!

I am trying to raise funds for Maya and her recovery as she is unable to walk or even sit up at this time, will be unable to move from bed for many weeks and will not be able to work for about 4 months, and quite frankly we are not remotely prepared for this. What little money she had saved was recently used to keep her car legal, and I... hate to air this, but my work has slowed down so bad that I have had a few months at the end of last year without pay and have been surviving off of my retirement account. This fundraiser is to help my daughter Maya get the constant care she needs over the next few months as well as rent, all disability equipment, ordering food, her fur babies, and bills, and to keep her car from getting repoed. As well as for me to fly back and forth to help as I am currently living in Chicago, her Houston. Anything will help us in this difficult and unavoidable situation. Thank you in advance!
