Donate to help Matt Manks' recovery

On Saturday the 23rd of September, Matt had a motocross accident and as a result has suffered significant injuries to his spine. While at this stage he has fortunately retained feeling in his legs following surgery, Matt is still facing a long and difficult recovery.

Matt is a legend of a human being, and a great friend, riding buddy and competitor to many of us in the moto community. He is well known throughout the Gippsland MX scene, and lines up on the gate in the vets class regularly at all the local and Gippy events. When he's not racing, Matt's pretty much become part of the furniture at PBI Ride Farm, where he has ridden almost every other weekend over the last few years.

As a self-employed contractor, the physical nature of Matt's business unfortunately means that he will be unable to work for quite some time. So I am calling on our friends and family in the motocross community to help Matt keep the lights on and food on the table while he heals up, in the hope that with a little bit of support this will be one less thing he'll need to worry about in the months ahead.

Any donations, great or small, that you can put towards helping one of our own, would be greatly appreciated, and will go entirely toward helping Matt with and during his recovery.
