On September 6th, Matt Cline was doing what he so frequently does, helping others with his time and talents. That afternoon, while clearing storm-damaged trees at his church, he sustained a serious spinal cord injury. Matt underwent emergency surgery and has since been working through physical and occupational therapy at the hospital. He is positive, determined, and regaining increased use of his limbs day by day.

In the weeks and months ahead, so much is in flux with work, home and medical care. One concrete thing we can do in the midst of that is give to support the Cline family, so that Matt's generosity of time and spirit doesn't result in undue financial burden for himself and his family.

Matt has spent his life teaching and helping others and now he needs our support. All gifts will go directly to the Clines to help cover costs associated with medical care, readjusting to life at home in late October, and loss of income. Matt and Melanie are appreciative of the continued outpouring of prayers and support.
