Hi, my name is Mariana Rucker and I’m fundraising to help my little cousin, Matilde, reunite with her mother while she battles cancer and help her with future medical expenses.

For those who don’t know my little cousin, Matildita, is a 5 year old cancer warrior. She was diagnosed last year with pleomorphic osteosarcoma malignant of high degree.

Her aunt from Spain brought her to the United States to make her wish come true to visit Disney World for the very first time after her chemotherapy treatment. During her visit she got very sick and had to be intervened right away. Currently her mother and dad do not have a visa to come to the United States and they keep getting denied due to lack of resources to proof that they won’t over extend their stay. They continue to request a B-2 visa to no avail.

Matilde just underwent a major surgery on Monday, her right arm was amputated in order to combat her aggressive cancer. Right now my only hope is that her mother could come to the United States so Matilde could reunite with her and have her mother by her side to care for her during this difficult times.

A mother’s love is so profound and essential during this difficult times. It breaks our hearts that Matilde is fighting this cancer on a hospital bed without her mother. My hope is that your donation can help Matilde’s aunt with her living expenses while she cares for her in Miami, help Matilde’s mom come to Miami to reunite with her daughter and help Matilde get a prosthesis.

I’m sure that Matilde’s healing process will be faster with her mother by her side.

Her journey is long but we are hopeful that God will grant her a miracle and that she will beat cancer. No child should ever have to suffer this much, please keep little Matilde and our family in your prayers.
