Hi, my name is Jordan and I’m hoping to help fundraise money to cover expenses for my cousin Mason’s cancer medical treatment. Receiving news of Mase’s diagnosis was definitely a huge shock, that at the age of 27, I never thought I’d be hearing. I remember receiving the phone call from her like it was yesterday, but I knew she was strong and she’d get through this with as much support from those around her as she could get. So I’m hoping to help continue supporting her in this long journey and lessen the financial burden it has come along with.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Mase has had surgery, chemotherapy and is now undergoing radiation. She is also on a targeted IV medication for a year because of the type of breast cancer she has. There is an additional medication that is not yet part of the standard of care in Canada, but is gold standard in the United States and has been shown to improve outcomes alongside the treatment she is currently receiving. It has been decided that this treatment will be added in for the remaining 9 months, although it does come with a high financial cost. I am looking to her close friends and family to see if anyone is able to help ease the financial burden in getting her the best and highest quality of care.
