If you know my sister Chelsey, then you know how much she loves animals - especially her own. Not only does she work hard to take care of animals every day at her job, but she devotes herself to her own pets, making sure they receive everything they need, whether that be something as easy as love and affection, or something as specific as a special diet and daily medications.

Unfortunately, my sister's 6 year old dog, Marlee, has suddenly ended up needing to be hospitalized all week for treatment of severe pancreatitis. The doctors are doing everything they can to save her, and Chelsey has been utilizing every resource she has available to her to make sure Marlee can stay in the hospital for treatment as long as she needs to hopefully beat this sickness. However, to say that the immense cost hasn't been troublesome at all would not be truthful.

Whatever happens, I want to help my sister pay for this unfortunate event. She is a fantastic person and a spectacular dog mom, and if anyone deserves help during this time, it's her. I know she would do the same for me, if I were in her position.

Any amount that you can donate, no matter how small, will be incredibly helpful in going towards Marlee's already incurred bills and any yet to come. And if you can't donate, that is totally understandable - we are all hurting in this economy lol. But if you could share this and spread the word, that would be incredibly helpful, too. Chelsey does so much for others, and I'd like to try and give back to her during her time of need however I can.
