Let's Help Mark recover from Flesh Eating Bacteria

Donation protected
Hello my name is John, Mark Sherwood is my brother in law and friend married to my sister Dee for 40 years . On friday February 2nd Mark and I were talking on the phone and he was complaining he wasn't feeling right, he said he was going to go home and lay down. The next morning my sister called me, told me Mark was pale, his right leg was swollen, he could not stand and was very weak. Dee took him to the hospital and after running a series of test, his vitals were at a critical state. The doctors determined that Mark had a flesh- eating bacteria (Necrotizing Fasciitis) that was inside his right leg. He needed to have emergency surgery to remove this and try and stop it from spreading. Dee and Marks life changed overnight.
Mark had to have 4 surgeries over the next 4 days to fight this flesh-eating bacteria from continuing to spread and to save his life. He spent 1 week in ICU and I am glad to report he is in stable condition but still in the hospital. This is going to be a long road to recovery.

Throughout his life, Mark has been the rock, the confidant, and the friend to so many, always ready to lend a helping hand. Together, we can rally around our dear friend, brother, father, and husband, showing him the same love and support he has always shown us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support during this difficult time.

What These Funds Will Do:
We've set a goal of $100,000 to help cover the mounting medical bills and rehabilitation costs. These funds will be crucial in ensuring that Mark receives the best possible care without the added stress of financial burden. They will help to cover hospital bills, rehabilitation fees, necessary medications, extended nursing care at home, hospital bed at home and any unforeseen medical expenses to come.

Our Gratitude:
We understand that everyone faces their own challenges, especially in these times. Any contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant difference. We are endlessly grateful for your support, your prayers and your positive thoughts during this difficult time.

In Conclusion:
Your support will provide Mark the space to focus on his health and well-being. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any assistance you can provide to Mark during his time of need.
