Hi, my name is Peaches Barnaby and I am raising funds on behalf of Mark Jones to attend University.

This fundraising is important to me because Mark is an ambitious, committed and hardworking young man who was able to graduate from 6th Form at Black River High School in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica as well as the Valedictorian of his class of 2022.  He was able to overcome obstacles that most children do not experience in their everyday life.

His dad is blind in both eyes and is not able to work and assist Mark and his mom is financially challenged.  My mom is currently helping Mark and his brother with their education but she is the final stage of heart disease and has done the best she can for them.

Mark has been very helpful to my mom and so I would like to help him attain his goal to attend University.

Mark currently lives in Jamaica, however he is planning to attend school in Canada. I am able to provide accommodation, but he will require much needed assistance for his tuition.  His ambition is to pursue a career Electrical Engineering to enable him to become a contributing citizen of the world.

It takes a village to raise a child, so we seek your assistance in unlocking the doors of opportunity for this promising young man.
