Hello, my name is Fernando Rivera and I am fundraising for my mother Maria. She was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her stomach beginning this year in January. She began to receive treatment with chemotherapy and although everything was pointing towards the right direction, on March 10, 2023 she was admitted to the hospital with a high grade fever being diagnosed with pneumonia and Covid. Unfortunately, due to pneumonia she developed an infection in her lungs. The infection in her lungs lead her to develop sepsis which cannot be treated any further. Unfortunately, my moms underlying health conditions are getting worse and worse as days go by and her doctors have informed my family and I to be prepared.
