Hi, my name is Oisin Benham. I'm a third-year Film and Broadcasting student at TU Dublin.

This semester, I've been lucky enough to have had my short film script 'Company' selected to be put into production.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity for my peers and I to make a film that will be our most challenging yet. Pushing all of our knowledge and skills that we have accumulated in the past three years.

'Company' follows your everyday girl, 'Melissa', as she fights off sleep to try to stay up for her boyfriend's return from a party. As the hours go by, she gets more exhausted, but when the door opens, and a familiar figure makes itself at home, is it her boyfriend or something far more sinister?

I'm quite passionate about this piece, I'm a huge fan of thriller and horror movies. With John Carpenter's 'The Thing' and Ridley Scott's 'Alien' being huge sources of influence and, more importantly, inspiration. So to take on a production that tackles the same themes and atmospheres those directors have perfected, is highly motivating for me.

As I've mentioned, this will be our most challenging production to date; however, I've been lucky enough to be surrounded by a talented group of individuals. So I have full faith we will pull off this task.

All donations will be put into equipment such as makeup, costumes, props, equipment to black out windows (as it is set at night), travel costs, food for actors and crew, and more.

Every beneficiary will be added to the 'Special Thanks' section of the end credits.
