For the past two years, my father has been courageously battling ongoing medical issues that have required frequent hospitalizations and continuous care. What started as occasional doctor visits has become a cycle of hospital stays, treatments, and recovery periods that have completely changed his life.

Living on a fixed income, Dad has always been careful with his finances and proud of his independence. However, the mounting medical expenses, combined with the costs of daily living, have created an overwhelming financial burden that his modest budget simply can't sustain. Between co-pays, medications, medical supplies, and basic necessities, the bills continue to pile up faster than his limited income can cover them.

Despite these challenges, Dad maintains his positive spirit and determination, but I can see the stress that financial worry adds to his already difficult health journey. No one should have to choose between proper medical care and keeping the lights on.
