Hi, I'm Brian and I'm looking to fundraise a bit to help our 12yo girl Luna continue to be cancer free. In May of 2025 Luna was diagnosed with a mast cell tumour in her mouth, based around the bottom K9 and near her jaw. We were given about 6-7 months and were told to likely prepare for the worst and say our goodbyes as her numbers were showing aggressive. We started treatment with Palladia in October and so far have been very lucky in that her results are showing a reduction in her charts, the specialist deems her now "cancer free" for the time being. The Palladia treatment seems to be working really well, and keeping her tumour suppressed and non-existent for now. Her test results say she's an extremely health 12yo girl otherwise (minus some winter arthritis).

With the high cost of living, and a significant car repair, our funds are dwindling. Luna is our responsibility and I don't expect anyone else to fund her bills, but we are being left with a tough choice to catch back up on bills, groceries or discontinue treatment for a few months. However this would likely leave us to eventually seek end of life treatment as the tumour will grow back twice as fast after suppression.

I don't expect to raise anything, and I don't like asking for help, but it would be life changing for both Luna and myself. Anything raised will go to Luna's bills for treatment or vet appointments. She's such a sweet and active girl for her age, we'd hate to have to stop the treatment that's keeping her cancer at bay.
