The Kennedy family is in need.

Liz Kennedy (momma Kennedy/Momma Bensei) is in the hospital.

I'm gonna put the flowery stuff later, but, for those of you that know and care about Liz in real life, here's what we know so far:

To the best of our knowledge at the time of writing this, Liz had a brainclot that ruptured Monday evening on April 7th that resulted in a brain bleed in the back left of her occipital lobe. We're monitoring the clots that have formed on the left and right side, and our current plan of action is to slowly administer blood thinners in the hopes they reduce the clots, avoiding both making the bleeding worse and any need for surgery. As you can see, we towe a difficult line.

Some positivity: First off, she is responsive. When taken off of sedatives she responded to a sternum rub, her incubation, and the voices of her loved ones. Second, while these next 24-48 hours are critical, recovery from emergencies like this are both highly likely and highly UNLIKELY to leave her with lasting injuries or difficulties.

Liz is an artist, a lover of English, a mother to all those in need, and a light in the lives of all those she touches. The Kennedy family is proud, and devoted to the selfless aid of others in every aspect of our lives. We rarely ask for the aid of others, and, often, find ourselves laughing about that. Today, we need your help. Please. Whatever you can share is enough.
