Donate to help Lenard with his Medical Expenses

Hi everyone,

My name is JaMia, and Lenard is my younger brother. Many of you have known Lenard and our family for many years. Lenard is a husband and father of two beautiful young children. Recently, as some of you may know, Lenard was hospitalized due to health complications that no one expected. Unfortunately, a terrible infection resulting from food poisoning turned into further health complications and has led to an unexpected and extensive hospitalization. Lenard is currently undergoing dialysis for AKI and is working with PT to gain his motor skills and strength back. He is undergoing further medical evaluation for additional specialized care.

Further, as many of you already know, Lenard is a talented and accomplished self-employed barber and the primary provider for his family. Due to his health and hospitalization, he is unable to work, and we’re not sure when he will be able to return to work again.

On behalf of the Hilliard and Lopez family, we are very grateful and thankful for the support of family and friends. The outpouring of love and support has been insurmountable. In response to those who have reached out and to all those who would like to help during this difficult and challenging time, your prayers and support have been noted.

Due to the extent of Lenard’s health crisis and circumstances, the family along with his community want to support him and his family as much as possible. If you’re able to help with his medical expenses or support him in another way, big or small, it would greatly benefit and help him along the way.
