Lemma Kibret has dedicated his life to the beautiful game. His unwavering commitment, both on and off the field, has inspired countless players, fans, and communities. From the dusty pitches of Addis Ababa to the green fields of Australia, Lemma’s passion for football knows no bounds.

As a goalkeeper, Lemma stood tall between the posts, defending the honour of his nation. His penalty saves, leadership on the field, and unwavering spirit made him a beloved figure among fans. But Lemma’s impact extends far beyond the 90 minutes of play. He has tirelessly worked to promote football within the Ethiopian community here in Australia, fostering unity, camaraderie, and a love for the game. Lemma leads the first and only Australian team delegate to participate in the Ethiopian Sports Federation in North American (ESFNA) and he plays a paramount role in the annual Ethiopian Tournament in Australia.

However, life has thrown a curveball at our beloved goalkeeper. Lemma is currently facing a health issue that requires urgent attention. As he embarks on this challenging journey, we, as a community, have an opportunity to rally around him and show our unwavering support.
