Hi, my name is Caroline Gray and I am fundraising to help lay our mother to rest. On April 4th at 4:52 pm my mother took her last breath. She had been diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver a few years back and was fighting hard to get on the transplant list but unfortunately, her addictions took the best of her and she was unable to get the surgery. In the last few years of her life, she was sober for several months and got to witness my nephew being born and I know that it meant so much to her. We also all got to spend the last two Christmas' with her and it had been years since that had happened. Anyone that knew our mother knew that deep down she was a great person that would give you the shirt off her back however, addiction is a real thing. All of this happened so quickly and none of us were prepared. Our mother had no life insurance and no plans in place in case the worst happened. We are asking if any of you are in a position to help in any way that you please do. We know times are hard so if you are unable to we completely understand and just ask that you please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
