Hello we are Tullio and Diana, recently been travelling in Sri Lanka were we met the most beautifull and generous family, which told us about their story. About 3 years ago their 2nd son Lapt Vidwan had a fall with a bad head injury and intracranial bleed, this required him to be hospitalised in intensive care for months after removal of part of his skull to reduce pressure in his brain. During this time his parents had to lose their jobs and spend everything they had for treatments.

He's at present under physiotherapy and rehabilitation which are alredy very expensive.

They've recently open a delicious restaurant (Ceylon house restaurant, Tangalle) in their home trying collecting the money needed for the surgery and provide for they're family, but it would take too long to collect what they need for Vidwan's surgery...

We are raising funds for this brave young boy and his family who urgently needs surgery to fit a new artificial skull flap, this unfortunately is not covered by Sri Lankan National Health Service..

Without this procedure, he remains at serious risk of infection, worsening neurological condition and long-term brain damage.

The cost of the surgery and medical care is 420000 Sri Lankan rupies (1010£).
