Donate to help Laine get to Nationals

Hi, I am Amanda vanDriel, Laine's mom. We are raising funds for Laine to attend the National Power Lifting Competition in Summerside, PEI. The competition will take place from Sept. 9 - Sept. 14, 2024.

Laine had only started her power lifting journey in the fall of 2023. At her first competition she broke all previous records in her age and weight class and she took first place. This gave her the incentive to continue. She then entered the Provincials competition in Feb. 2024 and again beat her own records and placed first. From here she qualified for Westerns and in March, we made our way to Moosejaw, SK. where the competition was very intense. With hard work and dedication, Laine placed third and qualified for Nationals!

If you know Laine, she is an incredibly hard working girl! She has grit and does not like to give up. She has been dedicated to her gym workouts at FUEL Fitness & Nutrition in Beausejour, her coach Jared at Jared James Fit and to Kornerstone Barbell in Wpg. When Laine sets a goal, she achieves it!

Since she is a single competitor, she is looking to raise funds for flights, hotels, and any other supplies needed to have success at Nationals.
