Hello, my name is Ashley Murray and I am fundraising for my fiances brother, soon to be my brother-in-law, Kyle Coney.

Kyle is 25 years old who lives in Grande Prairie, Alberta and in April of this year (2025) started to feel ill with what we thought was just a bad cold. However, this quickly escalated to Kyle not being able to breathe well, being dizzy and fainting. After doctors appointments and hospital visits it was discovered that Kyle had a mass by his heart, that was causing these symptoms he was experiencing. This news was shocking to hear but sadly it turned out to be the least of Kyle's concerns. After continuing to get worse, Kyle was told to travel to Edmonton to see more doctors and specialists. What we thought was going to be a day or two trip, turned out to be a week, then months and now years.

At the end of May, Kyle was diagnose with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL). Which is an aggressive, fast-growing type of blood cancer that was discovered to be in Kyle's lymph nodes and blood. The only good news we received during this time, is that it was not in Kyle's bone marrow.

With this devastating diagnoses, we learned that Kyle would need to stay in Edmonton for a minimum of 1 year to receive chemotherapy and treatment. That is why I am starting this gofundme because Kyle's and his families world has changed so quickly and suddenly with costs they never thought they would have. These funds will help Kyle pay for a place to live in Edmonton with his mother, Kathleen, leaving her job to be his caregiver. Help with the cost of living in Edmonton and any cost of treatment or medication that is not covered by insurance.

Kyle has always given help to others, offering his time, energy and faith and now he needs our help. So please, anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.
