Hi, my name is Eric Allen. As some of you may have see from my Facebook post my best friend Kim Broadway has had a hard and long battle with cancer. Though she may have beat the cancer her body is still coping with the effects of the nasty chemo she had to take. It’s test after test surgery after surgery. This past surgery didn’t go as hoped and the kidney they were hoping to repair had to be removed. So now Kim has a long road of recovery ahead of her once again. With the fear of not knowing what could be next or how long before the next procedure. I don’t know how she does it. Kim is 33 years old and is a single mom of a beautiful daughter, Payton 13. Kim lives in New Athens Illinois, where she works two jobs. One as an insurance agent and the other at night tending bar at a local spot. Beyond being a hard worker, Kim is an amazing mom and spends a lot of time working with and taking Payton to acting classes and auditions for different modeling and acting gigs. It’s great seeing the connection they have. I’m reaching out to all that take the time to read because I know Kim would do the same for me. She has already done so much for Archer and I. She is the type like a lot of us that would never wanna ask for help. She has worked so hard for all that she has. But there are times like these that we just have to. Like a lot of us there are house mortgages, car loans, credit cards and every day expenses that we all just make to pay each month. And her being off work for a month or two plus all the medical bills is going to make it impossible for one person alone to survive. And that’s why I’m reaching out to all our friends and family or anyone that would wanna help this beautiful family. Anything at all is help and so appreciated.
