Hello,

I am setting up a GoFundMe on behalf of a close family friend, Ma Khrisha Johannah J Blackwell, best known as Khrisha J Blackwell.

In July 2025, Khrisha suffered from her second stroke. As she continues on the long road to recovery, she is unable to work and is accumulating medical expenses. We are raising funds to help ease the burden of monthly bills, with a goal of $6,000.

Khrisha has dedicated her life to serving others through her deep love of music and ministry. She began singing in a volunteer choir as a young girl and was later hired by Bishop John Dolan in 2006 to serve as a Music Minister for the Diocese of San Diego. Her passion for worship and music has touched countless lives, especially young children, as she worked at Saint John School. Khrisha built the children's choir with incredible vocalists and musicians, and problem-solving technicians who are capable of running the sound for masses and school assemblies on their own.

Those who know Khrisha know her as a joyful, warm, and loving soul whose laughter lights up every room. She has always been the first to give, support, and uplift others — now, we have the opportunity to do the same for her.
