Donate to help Khin to organise a home for parents in Burma

Hello. My name is Sai. I have known Khin for a while, as he has been working for me in various projects and also at Cafe Arabica. Khin is a hardworking man of Burmese origin who is in Australia after seeking refuge here from the atrocities he and his family have been enduring in Myanmar. This took over thirteen years whilst he languished in a Malaysian refugee camp waiting for asylum. His parents and sisters are still unfortunately in Myanmar, caught up in the throes of the recent earthquake, which shattered their home, on top of the daily threats on their lives from the military regime. They are now homeless, as you can see from the picture. Khin is very distressed. He is seeking all our help to get his family to safety while they try to find a dry place to spend their nights from the incessant monsoon rains. We can change his and his family’s life. This man has endured enough. He needs us to be his support. And we surely can. The money raised will help Khin’s family to get a home, and also plan their shift to Australia through the asylum seeker pathway, using legal support from lawyers here in Australia.
