Kerry Oldfield-Ellis lost her home on Gaasch’s Road, Harcourt, along with everything she owned, in the January 2026 Ravenswood South/Harcourt bushfires. In a matter of hours, the fire took not just a house, but a lifetime of memories and belongings.

Kerry’s home held all of the precious belongings she had kept from her husband, Warrick Harwood, who passed away around five years ago after his battle with cancer. These irreplaceable items - memories of a shared life - were lost in the fire.

Many in the community will remember Warrick as the lead guitarist for the iconic Australian band Goanna, whose music touched countless lives. Kerry has already endured profound loss, and this disaster has compounded her grief in an unimaginable way.

All donations are so dearly appreciated and will go directly to Kerry to support her immediate recovery, relief, and help her rebuild her life and home.

Your kindness and generosity will make a real and lasting difference for Kerry. This Gofundme has been created by Sophie Bickford - Kerry’s neighbour and family friend.
