Donate to help Katie Bauer fight cancer

Last week, our dear friend and colleague Katie Bauer received the shocking news that she had cancer after a routine check-up. Fortunately, her doctors detected the cancer early, and scheduled her for surgery right away. While her outlook is optimistic, she will have a long road to recovery following this procedure, and will miss several months of work while she heals.

If you've ever had the pleasure of meeting Katie at Della Terra or in any other walk of life, you know that she is an incredibly kind person. Through her work in hospitality and in health care, she is the rare soul who has truly dedicated her life to taking care of other people. Her positive attitude is infectious, and she sets an example for all of us every day of how to be a more generous, empathic member of a community.

It's our turn to support Katie. She deserves not only to make a full recovery from this unexpected illness, but to recuperate without having to spend her days worrying about the financial pressure resulting from medical bills and lost income. All of us at Della Terra ask anyone with the means to consider donating to this fundraiser, 100% of which will go directly to Katie and her family to support them during their time of need.
