On Saturday, September 6, 2025, Kathy Young’s life was forever changed when she was in a devastating car accident. She is currently in the ICU with extensive injuries and faces a long, difficult road ahead. Kathy will remain hospitalized for weeks, undergo multiple surgeries, and endure months of intensive recovery and rehabilitation.

Kathy is an adored mother, sister, MiMi, KACKY, friend, colleague, and now, survivor. Her kindness is truly contagious, her spirit is uplifting, and she brings light into every room she enters.

Kathy has always shown up for others, and now it’s our turn to show up for her. As she fights to heal, let’s surround her with love and prayers throughout this long recovery journey.
