My name is TerraLee Hutchinson, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my dear friend, and cousin Kari Hamilton. Kari is someone who has always shown up for others, when they need her and right now she could truly use some love, care, and support as she begins this daunting journey.

We are coming together to support Kari Hamilton, a devoted single mom to two incredible boys, Gage (18) and Van (17), during an unimaginably difficult time.

Kari is a hardworking, self-employed bookkeeper in Moose Jaw who has always shown up for her family and her clients with integrity, resilience, and heart. She has built her business through dedication and long hours, providing for her boys while instilling in them strong values and work ethic.

Recently, Kari was diagnosed with cervical, uterine and double breast cancer. True to who she is, she is meeting this reality with strength, courage, and determination. She will be undergoing multiple surgeries, and while her medical journey is just beginning, the full scope of her treatment plan is still unknown.

In addition to conventional care, Kari is exploring alternative and integrative treatment options in the United States and Mexico, which may offer additional hope but also come with significant costs not covered by insurance. Travel, treatment, recovery time, and the reality of being self-employed during this process place a significant financial strain on her and her family.

This fundraiser is meant to help ease that burden so Kari can focus on healing, being present for Gage and Van, and making the best possible decisions for her health without the constant weight of financial stress.

Funds raised will help with medical expenses, travel and treatment costs for integrative care, living expenses during recovery and time away from work, and supporting her boys during this challenging season.
