Help Hidden Creek Farm After Devastating House Fire

Our hearts are heavy as we share the devastating news that the Ruckersville home of my mom and sister, Kandi and Tammy Stirling, was completely destroyed by a fire. They lost everything - all their belongings and irreplaceable memories. Thankfully, they were not home, and their barn and beloved animals at Hidden Creek Farm are safe and in good health.

Kandi and Tammy have devoted their lives to running Hidden Creek Farm and providing riding lessons to the community, and partnering with Greene County Parks and Rec to introduce residents to horses and their care. While they are relieved their animals are unharmed, they are facing immense challenges. Along with losing their home and all of their possessions, they are also experiencing a significant disruption to their income. They can continue offering lessons, but not as regularly, as their time and energy are stretched thin managing the animals and navigating this crisis.

Despite everything, their dedication to their animals and their community remains strong. Your donation will go into an account directly supporting Kandi and Tammy’s immediate needs, including animal feed and care (hay, grain, and veterinary expenses) as they work to rebuild their lives.
