I'm a disabled 25 year old who is struggling - like many - to make anything work in this economy.

Regardless, I was thinking about it, and decided to make a GoFundMe for my family.

Can you tell me more about your family?

Absolutely: The three of us humans are all disabled. We've been living together since lockdown in 2020, and plan to stay together well into the foreseeable future.

We currently also have my medical alert service dog, as well as two cats, who are all part of our family too.

Are these funds an immediate need, or just to have something to fall back on?

Honestly, these funds are an immediate need.

While we currently have a roof over our heads (at a hotel), we're struggling to keep up with room payments, as the reservation keeps getting messed up, seemingly fixed, then being more expensive than we were previously told it would be.

We would absolutely love to be able to get out of this hotel and have our own thing! :)

Alright, so...You're trying to get out of living in the hotel...But what's your plan if you do get funded?

Our Plan A is that we're hoping to be able to find a motorhome, even if it's an older model, to fix up a bit and live in full-time. We've also been looking into RV parks already, as this is something our family has wanted to do for years.

That being said, we're really hoping we can take this step towards rebuilding our lives.

Have you found an RV yet?

Being as we don't have the funds (or even a small fraction of the funds) for a downpayment or purchase yet, we haven't looked at RVs seriously in about four months.

In fact, last time we looked, we were going to go pick up a pop-up camper from someone, who ended up selling it to someone else when we were on our way to go get it.

Anyways, in short: No, we haven't found an RV yet, but we will definitely be seriously looking when we start getting donations in.

What if you don't meet your funding goal?

If we don't meet the funding goal for an RV, we are going to put the money towards move in fees for another apartment, provided we can find one we meet the income requirements for!
