Donate to help Kaela (Kalawai) and Dallas

I am Kaela's Mom (Mum) trying to reach out to raise money for my daughter Kaela/Kalawai and her fiance Dallas.

Kaela (Kalawai) and Dallas had just moved back to Lahaina in June, leaving full-time jobs in Lahaina a year ago to help Kaela's grandmother in England and then me in Molokai. Kaela is from Molokai, born and raised, and Dallas is from Maui. They decided to return to Lahaina to be close to Dallas's Grandpa. They had just finished moving all their belongings back to their apartment days before the Lahaina fire broke out. Their dreams were to continue writing and playing music and be close to Dallas's Grandpa.

They feel fortunate they made it out with 10 minutes to spare and know many lost their lives and/or homes. It's a sad and heartbreaking story with the fire in Lahaina. They had $15,000 worth of valuables in the apartment, now in ashes.

Any kind of help you can give would be amazing so they can rebuild their lives again. They are both genuinely thankful that Dallas's Grandpa is safe and alive, grateful that they have at least their lives, thankful to their family on Maui, and thankful for all those who helped them get to safety.
