Hi all. My name is Julissa Hernandez, I am a first generation, low income, second year college student at Contra Costa College. On Thursday of 4/24/25 my friend and I had the unfortunate experience of getting their car broken into. Some of my belongings that were stolen included my MacBook and iPad. Both items which I use to fulfill my academic responsibilities. As a full time student I am only able to work part time. Therefore the cost of replacing these items will weigh heavily on me.
