Hi everyone!

Region 261 is raising money for our dear colleague and friend Julie Froede. In March of this year, Julie was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 3 Multiple Myeloma. Since her diagnosis, much of her time has been spent in the hospital getting necessary treatments. That means she hasn't been able to work, which let's face it, is a hard hit to the bank account even with insurance. And health insurance doesn't always cover everything- there are many things most people don't think about like parking fees, the extra fuel to get to appointments, wear and tear on your car. In addition, most people lose weight during this fight so even things like clothing that fit becomes an expense; normal home maintenance can become something that doesn't get done because it's yet another expense; this list could go on and on.

And that's why we're setting up this GoFundMe page. We want her to be able to concentrate as much as possible on fighting the cancer and worry less about the "other stuff". So if you can, we would appreciate any amount towards our goal and we know she would appreciate it too!
