18 months ago: I was offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It involved travel, athletics and a business venture I had long dreamt of. I started small and decided to invest all of my spare time outside of my full-time job to training, planning and building. Roughly 4 months in, progress was strong and promising.
14 months ago: I walked away from my career to truly invest all I had into this venture. I had been saving, I was in the beginning stages of an athletic contract and I had launched and built a successful small business that also allowed me to give back to my community.
6 months ago: My athletic contract had fallen through but a slew of magazine articles about the business and community efforts surrounding it had created enough hype to keep me feeling hopeful and almost excited to now have the extra time and energy to cut back on training and traveling to expand our community presence.

I accidentally asked the right questions to the right people and learned that my entire venture was a fraudulent scam. I had left an entire life behind and built a new one based on a lie. I invested my savings and walked away from my livelihood and security for something that never existed.
I now find myself without a growing small business, in debt and two weeks from losing my home as well as my personal training and cooking space.
Needless to say, I could use some help. I am willing to work for every dollar donated. I can cook, provide training or nutrition plans, I can fix or build things.
I am eternally thankful for any and everything that is given.
Fraud is real. It CAN happen to you. Be careful who you trust.
