My name is Ogile, and I am fundraising for my mother, Mrs. Joy Kopu Oze, a woman whose entire life has been devoted to caring for children with special needs, orphans, and vulnerable young people. For over 40 years, she has been the heart and guiding force behind Daisy’s Home for Special Children located in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Daisy's Home has given hundreds of children safety, dignity, and a place to call home.

Recently, my mum was diagnosed with a serious and aggressive liver condition. After extensive tests and consultations in Nigeria, she was urgently referred abroad for specialist care. She is now in India, where she has begun receiving the advanced treatment she desperately needs.

The medical journey ahead is complex, intensive, and extremely costly. Between treatment, investigations, hospital care, and the extended stay required for her recovery, the financial burden is far beyond what our family can carry alone.

My mother has spent her entire life helping others. Today, she is the one who needs help.
