Thank you SO much for taking a minute to learn about Baby Hayden Lee.

My name is Chrissy Hahn, and I started this GoFundMe for my sweet friend, Ms. Laney Lee, her husband Josh, and their precious baby, Hayden.

Ms. Laney Lee grew up at our dance studio where we both work, beginning dance at age 3. Now she is one of our beloved dance teachers, and she and her husband, Josh, have had quite the journey welcoming their first baby, Hayden, into the world.

Laney had been living at Duke University Hospital Birth Center since February 3rd due to her water breaking when she was just 25 weeks along. (Thank you SO much for those who supported them during that first month with gifts, letters, and visits!!) But praise Jesus she was there, because on February 26th, when she was just 28 weeks and 4 days during a routine check, they discovered the baby had a high heart rate. When they checked Laney she was already 4 cm dilated, and Baby Hayden's foot was coming out! (He was breech). An emergency C-section followed, and he was born at 2:34pm, weighing just 2 pounds and 15 ounces.

He was rushed to the NICU, where initially he was doing ok, considering his extremely pre-mature delivery. However things took a turn the next day, and since then Hayden has faced many complications, both from being pre-mature as well as some other issues that are still being investigated.

There is still so much Laney and Josh don't know.... and some things will only become clear as Hayden gets older. Laney's personal recovery went well and therefore she was discharged on March 1st. They lived 45 minutes away from the hospital, which was unfortunately too close for them to qualify for the Ronald McDonald House. However thanks to your generous giving, they have been able to move to Haw River and are therefore only 20 minutes from Hayden!

Because of needing hotel rooms, paying for parking everyday in the hospital parking deck, eating out every meal, as well as the medical bills that are starting to pile up, I was given their permission to start this GoFundMe to give anyone reading this the opportunity to help if you are able.

First and foremost... PRAY! Our God is a God of miracles, and we have seen many of them already with this little guy. Please pray that Jesus would see fit to completely heal his little body, and that the doctors caring for him would have the wisdom to know what is going on and how to treat it.

Secondly... give if you can! Josh was going to school for law enforcement, and Laney has not been able to work since she went into the hospital. Your gifts would help ease a tremendous burden they are under!

I will provide updates as I have them. THANK YOU so much for reading, praying, giving, and sharing.
