On Sunday, September 24th, Josh Chinn went to the emergency room with stomach pain. Within a few hours, his whole life was turned upside down.

He was immediately admitted and diagnosed with stage 4 cancer—a huge shock for anyone let along a healthy 36 year old with a toddler.

While processing the shock, he turned septic and had to have an emergency life-saving surgery. This did not address the tumor, only the cause of the sepsis.

He is now in ICU recovering from surgery and on an antibiotic to fight the bacteria in his blood.

After this, he will need a surgery to remove the tumor followed by chemotherapy.

Josh and Brittany have missed a week of work already. They both will continue to need time off work to fight this disease. We know, without doubt, he will beat this.

But they need to fight without the worry of finances.

Josh and Brittany, along with their one year old baby girl, Ryleigh Jo, are a precious family. They have lived a beautiful life of giving to others. What they have sown will come back as fruit to help them fight this Goliath.

We are starting with a goal of $10,000. This battle will take time so if more comes in, it will help him fight. Yet, it's not a battle to be fought alone, and the burden of financial worries should not be theirs to bear.

Relationships forged living a generous life will bear rich fruit.
