Donate to Help Jonah Heal

Hi, my name is Mamie and I’m fundraising for Jonah Boucher who was involved in a serious motorcycle accident on 9/23/22. Jonah often can be found supporting his fellow musicians, and it was after leaving one of these events, a careless driver entered his lane without looking and struck his bike at a high rate of speed. It was reported that he did not have a heartbeat upon being found by an EMT and was resuscitated on the scene. The odds of surviving such are extremely low but he is some kind of miracle. Jonah still has several difficult obstacles to overcome. It is every musician’s greatest fear to injure or lose the irreplaceable tools with which we create and convey our art. Jonah is fighting to heal from a grade IV splenic laceration that required emergency surgery, multiple finger fractures, for which he is awaiting surgery, a right radial fracture, and fractured wrist that will also require surgery. Additionally, he suffered a left patella dislocated, left scapula fracture, road rash, and a concussion. We are more than lucky to still have him and he needs all of our support while he heals. We’ve got to get this fella back to picking and sharing his truly amazing gift with the world.
