Hi my name is Katie and I am fundraising for the McEvoy family.

Back on the 13th of January my best friend Jeorgia McEvoy aged 29 suffered a catastrophic bleed on the brain which caused a major stroke at 34 weeks pregnant on her second child she had to have an emergency C-section to save the baby that night. Her family all had to be called to the hospital as is wasn't looking good for jeorgia but by a miracle after having major brain surgery and part of her skull removed to let the swelling go down she remained in a stable condition. She had a tracheostomy put in and was in a coma for 6 weeks. Jeorgia remains in hospital now 6 months later with life changing injuries.

Her two babies Skye aged 2 and Lake 6 months are being looked after by her mother and siblings as you can imagine it's a very difficult time for the family as Jeorgias road to recovery is long and any donations will be going towards living expenses care for her children and jeorgias daily needs and she will need adaptation to her home when she finally returns were she belongs home with her family. This will take the financial stress of her family as Jeorgias mother Anita is out of work and does not no when she will be back working. Anyone who knows jeorgia will know she lived for her baby Skye and was looking so forward to her baby boy to come into the world and for it to end up this way is absolutely devastating. Jeorgia is the most funniest loving person I know and she did not deserve this to happen to her so let's help Jeorgia and her family at this really hard time.
