Jenni Keast is the mother of a close friend and was in a horrific car accident on Thursday, March 31st, 2022. She was hit by a car on Highway 20 while traveling from Redding to Sonoma. From the accident, she was airlifted to a hospital, where a heroic team of doctors and nurses worked on her all night, saving her life. Jenni has been making a miraculous recovery after each major surgery (currently, she has gone through 4). Hannah, her daughter/my friend, has been with her since April 1st. Her Coworkers and friends from the Good News Rescue Mission have also been by Jenni's side, supporting her as she has gone in and out of surgeries. Jenni works with the homeless population in Redding, advocating for individuals who are overlooked by society and recovering from addictions. The first-ever podcast she had produced, interviewing a woman recovering from an addiction, was set to launch on 4/1 -- the day after the accident.
