I've started this fundraising page to help my best friend Jeffrey, who is currently experiencing financial hardship from having to take unpaid leave from work due to multiple medical issues.

In February, Jeffrey had to have foot surgery due to complications of type 1 diabetes which he has had since he was 13.

He had only been back to work a few weeks when on April 2nd, he was rushed to the emergency room with a heart attack. He spent several days in the Cardiac ICU, and coronary artery bypass surgery is recommended as soon as his foot is healed.

On April 9th, he had to have another surgery on his foot, and on April 17th, a vascular procedure to improve the healing process. It is looking good, and once the prognosis for healing is set, the plans for cardiac surgery will be set in place.

Jeffrey will be likely off work for several months, leaving him with no income. I am hoping to raise funds to help with rent and living expenses while he is off, with any extra going to medical bills. Any amount would be appreciated!
